This too shall pass ❤️

Good morning/afternoon/evening, you beautiful people!

In life, we have ups and downs, highs and lows. We go through life in seasons and the sun cannot shine always, otherwise we would wither under its heat. We need the cloudy days and heavy rain fall, just as much as we need the warm sunshine. Being delayed is not being denied. For gold to become the valuable jewel that it is, it must be refined in the fire.

I view my low moments as a season of refinery. A time of introspection and growth. Navigating life's low moments is at times more challenging than navigating the good times in life. I believe that our hardships serve a purpose, always. There are times where we may feel lost and unsure. What I am learning is that the end is never the end. Lamentations 3:28-30, has been a grounding Scripture for me. This is a chapter in your story, an important chapter but don't let it become the end of the book by making life-changing decisions in a haze of emotions. Whatever you are going through is apart of the human experience, it will not be easy but go through it, don't avoid it.

My mother has kept on reminding me of a Scripture and I am going to share it with you. In the Book of Luke 18 :1-8, Jesus shares a story of a widow who kept on persistently going to a corrupt judge, asking for justice. In the end, after the judge saw just how relentless the widow was, he gave in to her request. Not because he was a good judge but because he wanted to be left alone! The moral of this story is twofold. Firstly, God is a righteous and fair Judge, how much more will He take care of us? If an unjust judge could give a persistent widow justice, surely in His Sovereignty and Mercy,  Jesus will grant us justice, healing and peace. Secondly, the widow's persistence was highlighted and to me this shows the importance of a relentless spirit. Be relentless in prayer and doing what needs to be done physically. Giving up is not an option because if it is not good, God is not done! Keep on having faith because faith the size of a mustard seed can more mountains, so do not give up!

Dala what you must but don't give up! We don't give up around here because life is worth living and the future is still so bright! I truly believe that surely this too shall pass! It is okay to struggle and have moments of doubt. Know that God sees us, loves us and will restore us. Just keep on keeping on! ❤️

Question of the week: How can you protect and grow your faith? What is the next right thing to do? (Deep down, I believe that you may know what to do and even if it is daunting, do it and trust that God will honour your faith and obedience!)

All my love ❤️
Ruthy
